About
Amy Szefel Starck
Amy Starck has more than twenty-five years of not-for-profit experience, focusing on the missions of educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and social services agencies. In response to the unpredictable nature of government funding, she founded AMYSTARCK Consulting & Event Planning, Inc. in 2014 to help charitable organizations enhance their fundraising efforts through donor stewardship, grants from private and corporate foundations, and revenue-generating special events.
Some of Amy's notable achievements include leading the $4.5 million capital campaign for Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, organizing the Buffalo Brewfest, and managing the Dennis J. Szefel, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament for Roswell, which has raised over $1 million for the Endowment Fund.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a graduate of the Canisius College Essentials of Fund Raising Class. In 2012, she completed The Independent School of Management Academy Program. She is proficient in Raisers Edge, Results Plus, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Social Media Networking.
